The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Cookies are subject to this recall:

  • Happy Shopper Plain Chocolate Digestives, 200 gram package with a Best Before date of 7 December 2013

According to the FSA, Happy Shopper is recalling its store brand Plain Chocolate Digestive Cookies with a Best Before date of 7 December 2013. Some packets may contain small pieces of metal. If you have bought this product or are unsure that you may have, do not eat it.

The Trading Standards Institute (“TSI”) reports certain models of Beko Leisure and Flavel cookers with a separate oven and grill can, if they are not operated in accordance with the user instructions, produce dangerous levels of Carbon Monoxide which poses a serious risk to health.

R. Beetles Adhesive Lock Recall [Australia]

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the recalled Adhesive Lock is an adhesive door lock designed to restrict access to cupboards and cabinets for infants and others. This product was sold from March 2012 to January 2013. The WQ-010 Adhesive Locks unit bears the barcode “6332100410637” on the back of the packaging.

According to the ACCC, if the top cap of the Adhesive Lock is not secured it may be removed by an infant or child. If the top cap of the Adhesive Lock is, in fact removed, it may pose a choking hazard for young children. In addition, if the lock is defeated, young children may gain access to poisonous substances inside the locked cupboard, consume them and suffer an injury due to misadventure.
