The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves some Eclipse S11i and Verge S11i, X10, X20 and X30h models of Tern brand Folding Bikes. The 24-inch wheel Eclipse model was sold in a silver/black color combination. The 20-inch wheel Verge models were sold in silver/black, orange/white, red/black and yellow/grey color combinations. The brand, “Tern” is printed on the front end of the top tube and on a portion of the Bikes’ frame. The model name is printed on the middle of the top tube. The frame itself has a 10-character alphanumeric serial number that begins with “AM1A” or from “AM1102” through “AM1207”.
