About Nut Allergies:
For some people, groundnuts and tree nuts are a source of dangerous, urgent and potentially deadly, allergic reactions requiring immediate medical intervention. Anaphylactic Shock could occur in consumers who are allergic to peanuts or other nuts within a very short time, potentially leading to severe injury and/or death.

If you suspect Anaphylactic Shock, call-9-1-1 or other local emergency number for immediate transport to a medical center. If trained and an emergency kit is available, it may be appropriate to give an injectable drug such as Epinephrine (also known as adrenaline or adrenalin) to the affected individual. Trade names of these products include EpiPen, Twinject, Adrenaclick, Anapen, Jext, Allerject and Auvi-Q. Please note: even patients who are apparently stabilized should still go to hospital for emergency evaluation. Further treatment is often necessary.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Boys’ Pyjamas Recall [Australia]

Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: Target Australia recalls some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Boys’ Zapper Pyjamas (Sizes 4-8) due to fire danger hazard. ACCC: http://ht.ly/jZrbw

Direct link: http://www.recalls.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/1046801

Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Children’s Pyjamas is subject to this recall:

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Boys’ Zapper Pyjamas (sizes 4-8), black and orange colouring. Style number: GAT1855 - TeenageMutantNinjaPJsBS001. Keycodes: 53216595, 53216601, 53216618, 53216625, 53216632

The ACCC reports the recalled Pyjama Top does not have the Low Fire Danger label in the correct location on the garment (i.e., in the collar). The garment does not therefore comply with the mandatory standard for Chidren’s Sleepwear and Limited Daywear, AS/NZS 1249:2003, as amended by the regulation. The ACCC says the absence of the label on the collar could result in consumers being unaware of the fire danger rating for these garments.
