The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports some cans of Food Club Red Enchilada Sauce, through a production error, may actually contain Food Club Green Enchilada Sauce. Only the Food Club Green Enchilada product contains soy and wheat ingredients. Consumers who are allergic to these two ingredients and who depend on the correct product label for their safely will therefore be unaware the incorrect product is inside. Consequently, they may have a serious allergic reaction if they consume the Green Enchilada Sauce product, mislabeled as Red Enchilada Sauce.
