The company reports these products may contain Sunland brand Peanuts as an ingredient. These Peanuts are now subject to a North American-wide recall and involve numerous peanut-based foods from many manufacturers, distributors and retailers.

About Salmonella poisoning in Animals:
According to the FDA, animals with Salmonella infections may be lethargic and have diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever and vomiting. Some animals will have only decreased appetite, fever and abdominal pain. It is important to note that infected but otherwise healthy looking animals can be carriers and infect other animals or humans. Always wash your hands thoroughly after feeding, petting or performing other activities with animals.
