The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the Supplements contain a banned drug, specifically “1,3 dimethylamylamine” (“DMAA”). DMAA is a banned substance listed in Appendix C of Australia’s Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Medicines and Poisons (SUSMP). According to the ACCC, there are a number of significant adverse events associated with DMAA, including cardiac, nervous and psychiatric disorders.
