Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports there is a potential for a coolant leak to develop from the heater core of the recalled vehicles. Leaking coolant may enter the ECU and cause a short circuit. In the worst case scenario, the SRS airbag may spontaneously deploy, causing an accident and injury to the occupants and/or other road users.
